Light Body

Modern life often draws us into patterns of tension, stress and effort. Over time, these can become so familiar that we lose touch with our natural way of moving and being. Yet beneath these familiar patterns lies an innate capacity for ease, freedom, and well-being.

At the heart of Light Body is the belief that lasting change cannot be forced. Through curiosity and deep listening, we begin to recognise the patterns we carry and understand them more deeply. This awareness creates new possibilities for letting go.

The intention is not simply to offer relaxation, but to cultivate a deeper connection with ourselves – one that can bring lasting change to how we move, feel and respond in everyday life.

The Founder

XAVIER PERRATON

For more than twenty years, meditation has been at the heart of my life. I spent several years as a Buddhist monk and more than a decade teaching meditation, shaping not only how I understand the mind, but how I relate to myself, to others and to the process of change.

For many years, my practice was centred on the mind. Meditation taught me the importance of awareness and presence – learning to observe our experience with curiosity, understand the patterns at work and respond to them more consciously. Over time, I became increasingly interested in how these same principles could be experienced through the body, and in the relationship between our physical and mental patterns.

Discovering the Trager® Approach opened a new chapter. I was immediately drawn to its gentleness, curiosity and emphasis on listening rather than forcing.

Through touch and movement, I found another way to explore what I had encountered through meditation, now in a deeply physical and embodied way. Trager showed me how the body and nervous system can learn through experience, and how a different quality of movement can influence how we feel and experience ourselves.

Light Body grew naturally from this. It brings together Trager®, holistic massage and guided meditation, not as separate practices, but as complementary ways of working with the whole person. My intention is to meet each person where they are and create a calm, supportive space to slow down, listen more deeply and explore what they may need.

For me, this work is ultimately about helping people reconnect with something that can easily become obscured by the tension, stress and demands of everyday life: a more natural sense of freedom, presence and connection with themselves.
